Welcome to our community

TeachersMeet.com is always looking for veteran educators to volunteer their time to become mentors to those educators facing unique classroom challenges.

We also hope to give experienced educators an opportunity to develop their practices by working with non-district mentors.

Help us grow our learning community as either a mentor or member.

Activists and Advocates

We're in the unique position to be educational activists and advocates with more than thirty years' experience as public-school educators.

At this point our founder and principal contributor is beginning to take a much more active role in improving school safety; student assessment; teacher appreciation; BLOG Suggestions.

It would be our privilege to work with your school district in a consultant role to give your district an independent report card on the following areas...because student success and safety is what is everyone's goal.

School Safety

We're going to focus on School Safety or in most cases the lack of it.

Most districts and municipalities are gambling with the lives of their students and staff.

Student Assessment

Our key is advocating for the return to making assessments relative.

Something that continues to be on the decline and is at the heart of student motivation.

Teacher Appreciation

We'll look at Teacher Appreciation from a Human Resource management perspective.

Our main focus in this area is going to be on the hiring and promotional process in public education.

BLOG Suggestions

We will take subjects or topics that our followers have suggested.  If we decide to write on your topic, it will be done anonymously.

Our BLOG will cover articles with relevance affecting primary and secondary public education.

Foundational Pillars

TeachersMeet has four Foundational Pillars, which are Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Unity.

Integrity

We will adhere to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty by doing what's right no matter who is watching.

Service

We place community service at the center of all we will do.

Excel

We will work toward excelling in the world of public education through professional development and growth.

Unity

We're building a community with one state of being, focused on improving all student lives.

About us

After over thirty years in education, our founder has decided to bring educators together to close the opportunity gap through mentorship.

He believes it will take dedicated educators to volunteer to change the future of education.

The only way we can begin to build a better system is by first having the courage to identify the real problems.
